Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have begun supplying our high-performance DUNLOP GRANDTREK AT30 tyres to Toyota Motor Corporation for use as factory standard tyres on their 2022 model year Land Cruiser Prado, which will go on sale in the Middle East markets. The Land Cruiser Prado is a SUV that combines unparalleled off-road driving performance with outstanding comfort, making it one of the most popular SUV vehicles in the Middle East region. The new Land Cruiser Prado will be outfitted with our high-performance DUNLOP GRANDTREK AT30 with tyre size 265/55R19 109V. GRANDTREK AT30 tyres offer superior fuel economy performance and a high level balance of on-road and off-road performance, thanks to its new tread pattern design, tread compound and improved inner construction. The tyres have been designed to provide an outstanding off-road traction and pleasant on-road performance for the new Prado. The GRANDTREK AT30 has been designed to have a shallow depth to reduce tyre weight and rolling resistance, however, the new tread compound used in the tyre helps enhance its wear life. Also, its improved inner construction helps reduce the overall weight of the tyre for fuel efficiency while maintaining durability which compliments the new Prados design concept.
